ABOUT ERIC BENDER, MS, LMFT
PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Hi, I’m Eric.

I strive to center my work in patience and curiosity, allowing me to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients.
Creating a solid therapeutic relationship is vital and as such, we will work to build a collaborative environment that fosters a sense of trust, humor, and compassion. My goal is to provide a safe haven for my clients so that they may feel empowered to manage stressors, set healthy boundaries with others, and find value in their unique identities. It is an incredible honor to be given the opportunity to guide my clients through their life’s challenges and help put them on a path toward a life full of intention.
Erin Peterson, Valued Living Therapy in Edina Minnesota specializes in help for trauma recovery, couples counseling, sex therapy, eating disorder recovery, and perinatal and postpartum parenting concerns.

How I Can Help

I’m a firm believer that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy and in keeping with that belief, my sessions are uniquely tailored to each individual, couple, and/or family. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Systems Theory approaches.
