Hi, I’m Madeline.

As a therapist, I strive for my clients to feel heard, seen, and empowered.
I bring a down to earth, compassionate, and collaborative approach to my work. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for healing and growth. I value creating a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for individuals to explore areas of concern and build awareness. I work to help clients tap into their inner strength, breakdown maladaptive patterns, and find the right tools and strategies to live a more meaningful life.
Erin Peterson, Valued Living Therapy in Edina Minnesota specializes in help for trauma recovery, couples counseling, sex therapy, eating disorder recovery, and perinatal and postpartum parenting concerns.

How I Can Help

I take a person-centered and strengths-based approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s specific needs. I incorporate components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have specialized training and am particularly passionate about perinatal mental health and enjoy supporting individuals during pregnancy and throughout their parenthood journey. I also enjoy working with those struggling with anxiety, relational concerns, life transitions, depression, and infertility.
